The CCC conference series was initiated by Pr. Ian Sutherland and the late Dr. Edward Chou organizing CCC2000 in London to spread the use of CCC technology worldwide.

Twelve years after CCC2000 in London chaired by Pr. Ian Sutherland, and following on from CCC2002 in Beijing (Dr. T. Zhang), CCC2004 in Tokyo (Pr. H. Oka), CCC2006 in Bethesda (Dr. Y. Ito), CCC2008 in Rio de Janeiro (Pr. G. Leitao), and CCC2010 in Lyon (Pr. A. Berthod), CCC2012 will be held in Hangzhou, China. The conference will encompass all areas involving countercurrent chromatography (CCC), such as theory, new technology, and applications. A two-day short course will precede the conference.
